Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 on Saturday to draw level on points with La Liga leaders Barcelona. Federico Valverde and Arda Guler scored in the first half, with Kylian Mbappe adding a third after the break. The win marked Madrid's eighth consecutive victory across all competitions.

Mbappe scored for the seventh match running. He has netted 17 goals in 16 games across all competitions this season and 13 in the league. Valencia finished the match with 10 men after Jose Gaya was sent off in the 80th minute for a late sliding foul on Mbappe.

Madrid played without winger Vinicius Junior, who was serving the final game of a four-match ban. Barcelona, currently top of the table, visit Atletico Madrid on Sunday. Madrid beat Barcelona 1-0 at Camp Nou on October 25.
