Philly's Nyxy Nyx operate in that beautiful gray zone where finished songs and works in progress blur together. The underground duo released their debut studio LP, Cult Classics Vol. 1, last year, followed immediately by a self-titled record. Now they're back with "Concerning Evil Spirits," proving they're the type of prolific act that doesn't wait around for the perfect moment to share new material.

That prolific streak is the whole point. Nyxy Nyx makes a lot of music, and the ambiguity around which projects are "done" versus still-developing feels intentional. It's part of their DNA. They're not playing the traditional album cycle game where you disappear for two years and return with a perfectly polished statement. Instead, they're keeping the pipeline flowing, dropping songs and projects with the frequency of an act that trusts its instincts over its label's release schedule.

"Concerning Evil Spirits" fits into this relentless output. Whether it's a one-off single, part of a larger project, or something still-in-flux remains typically unclear. For Nyxy Nyx, that ambiguity isn't a bug. It's the whole appeal.
